In the app

Scan a receipt, keep a household book. One photo, every line.

One till slip, photographed once: OWNY reads all 28 lines with price and quantity, the purchase is assigned to the current account and lands in the household book – without typing a single line.

From the receipt to the household book. Recorded in the real app.

A real sample receipt: the amounts are the printed prices. Logo, address, tax and receipt numbers and names are blurred.

The golden middle

Finance apps count your money. OWNAMIC also counts what is in the cupboard.

Between endless manual work and blind automation there is a better way: your assets, income and expenses in one place — and OWNY, your built-in AI helper, takes over the tedious admin.

78 % of German households’ gross wealth is physical assets – the part finance apps usually do not see. Source: Deutsche Bundesbank, household wealth survey PHF 2021 (share computed from means).

Income & expenses

Your household book — rethought.

A household book that calculates from your inventory – object by object, contract by contract.

  • account_balance

Works without a bank connection, too

No bank access needed: you decide what is recorded – by receipt, statement or by hand. In return every booking has the real object behind it: contract, device, policy. Exactly the details a bank analysis cuts down to “Direct debit 74.80”.

  • swap_vert

    Both sides in one view

Salary, side income and allowances on the same page as rent, insurance and subscriptions — with fixed costs kept apart from what you steer yourself each month. Not a tool that only counts what goes out.

  • tune

    Budgets you can see coming

Set a personal spending limit per type of spending. OWNAMIC colours the bar as soon as it gets tight – photograph your receipts straight away and you see it before you are over, not in next month's statement.

  • category

Broken down by type of spending

While reading, the AI assistant OWNY gives every line its type of spending – fruit, cheese, mineral water, video streaming. One click on “Consumable” shows where the month's money really went.

The big picture

Assets, loans and cash flow — one picture

OWNAMIC connects object values, remaining debt and monthly flows into one honest carry-forward.

A home, a small remaining loan, salary and living costs: this example shows how net worth develops when everything is viewed together. The remaining debt reaches zero after five years — and the yearly bars show honestly that the first years run a deficit while net worth still grows.

hub Object values, mortgages and recurring flows from the inventory feed one traceable calculation – no isolated numbers.
trending_down The remaining-debt line comes from a real amortization schedule — in this example it reaches 0 after 5 years.
alt_route Work out with your own figures how long your savings last if your income stops – and how parental leave, a sabbatical, early retirement or special repayments affect your big picture.
skip_next You don't have to start from scratch. If you only want to track income, expenses and loans, you can skip capturing objects entirely — the big picture works without a single item.

Market link Current prices for securities, crypto and precious metals — taken over automatically.
Market link

Financial values with a market link.
Confirmed, and current every day.

Everywhere else a value is an estimate — a good one, but it ages. For shares and ETFs via the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, for US papers, cryptocurrencies and precious metals, OWNY finds the matching listing itself and proposes it. You confirm once. After that the value keeps itself current.
01 automatic

OWNY recognises

For a recorded asset OWNY recognises whether there is a cryptocurrency, a precious metal or a listed security behind it — and proposes the link.

02 your decision

You confirm

You see what the proposal rests on — name, ticker, exchange, currency and the date of the last price — and confirm it. Or reject it and search yourself.

03 automatic

The value stays current

From your confirmation on, the value is a calculation with a named source. Prices are carried forward without you touching anything.

Questions & answers

Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to the most common questions about OWNAMIC.

There is no automatic matching between receipts and bank statements yet. When you import, you see every booking OWNY found before you save it – simply leave out the purchases you already captured from a receipt. Rent, electricity or subscriptions are kept as recurring contracts, not as single purchases.

Bank statements as a CSV or PDF file (up to 10 MB, CSV up to 2,000 rows) or as a photo or screenshot. OWNY reads the bookings, whichever bank they come from. There is no direct bank connection: you decide what you upload. Excel (XLSX), CAMT or MT940 are not supported.

As often as you like – there is no fixed rhythm and no automatic import. Many import their statement once a month. For recurring contracts with a paying account, OWNAMIC proposes the payments that are due; nothing is booked until you confirm.

Yes, in two ways. You share one account – then you both see and change everything; share your access only with people you trust. Or each of you has an account of your own and you bring your objects and contracts into a shared space (up to five people). If the person who created the space includes the financial data, you see expenses and the overall picture together there – each of you can only change your own entries.

You can link securities, crypto currencies and precious metals to a market price – you confirm the link yourself. Prices are updated once a day; for securities these are closing prices, which may be delayed. Savings plans are a recurring purchase (daily to yearly, with an end date if you like), and the overall picture includes them.
Privacy & plans

For automatic object recognition we use Google Gemini through the paid Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform. Which means: you pay for the software, not with your data. Processing takes place on servers within the European Union, and Google does not use your images and inputs to train its models. For how this works in detail, see our Data security page, our Privacy & Data Policy and our Terms & Conditions.

No. OWNAMIC does not train an AI of its own. For the AI features we use Google Gemini through the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform on servers in the EU, and Google does not use your data there to train its models. If you would rather work without AI, simply switch OWNY off in the settings with “Without OWNY”.

The application and the database run on Hostinger servers in Frankfurt am Main; photos, documents and exports are kept in Microsoft Azure Storage, also in Frankfurt. Your content – objects, values, receipts, photos, documents and your conversations with OWNY – is stored encrypted with AES-256, and every connection is protected by TLS. Details we need in readable form to run the service, such as your e-mail address for signing in, are not additionally encrypted. When you use AI features, the content they need is sent to Google Gemini on servers in the EU. More on our Data security page and in our Privacy & Data Policy.

Not for their own purposes. To run OWNAMIC we use a small number of service providers that process your data only on our behalf – such as Hostinger and Microsoft Azure for hosting and storage, Stripe for payments and Google Gemini for the AI features on servers in the EU. Google does not use your inputs, files or the answers to train its models; to detect abuse, Google may log requests for a limited time. Beyond that, we do not share, sell, or transfer your personal or asset data to any third party for commercial, analytical, or advertising purposes. Every recipient is listed in our Privacy & Data Policy.

No. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data or asset information to any third party – and we never intend to. We are acutely aware of the sensitivity of the information you entrust to OWNAMIC and are fully committed to handling it with the utmost discretion, in strict compliance with applicable data protection law, including the GDPR. For the full framework governing your data, please consult our Privacy & Data Policy and Terms & Conditions.

Yes — through shared spaces. You contribute selected objects or collections to a space with up to five members. They see what you contribute; nobody but you can edit, delete or export your objects. Financial values stay hidden until you include them separately, and you can withdraw at any time. Please review our Terms & Conditions for the complete details on shared spaces.

Yes, explicitly. You can share your account with people you trust so they can help you capture and sort things. Whoever has your login sees and changes everything you see, so only share it with people you trust. If someone should only see selected things, use a shared space with up to five people, you included. Values stay hidden there until you include them.

Yes: OWNAMIC Lifetime costs €299 once — no subscription, no renewal, nothing to cancel. It includes all features, up to 20,000 objects, 50 GB of storage and 25,000 AI balance points that never expire. If you ever use them up, you can top up at any time. Lifetime applies for as long as OWNAMIC operates the service; discount codes apply to the subscription plans only.

Your objects stay fully usable — only the AI features pause. With a subscription your monthly balance renews at the start of the next period; with a subscription or OWNAMIC Lifetime you can also top up: 750 balance points cost €9.99 and never expire. Points you buy are spent only after your monthly balance.

Nothing is lost. Moving up takes effect immediately: the higher plan is billed pro rata and your AI balance rises to the new figure inside the running billing period — points you have already spent count against the new, higher balance, so the difference is available straight away. Stepping down is scheduled for the end of the running billing period: until then you keep your plan with all its benefits and can revoke the change at any time.

No object is ever deleted in the process. If your active object count sits above the lower plan's limit, every existing object stays fully usable — view, edit, export; only adding new objects is blocked until you are back below the limit or move up again.

After a cancellation your account stays in read-only mode once the paid term ends: objects and documents remain stored and visible to you, and you can export them at any time. We delete your data only when you explicitly ask us to.
